1. Robert A. Davis Mecosta Formerly of Lansing, MI Beloved son, husband, father and grandfather born September 10,
1938 passed away June 8, 2011 at the age of 72. Mr. Davis was a graduate of East Lansing High School. He was a
retired supervisor from the Board of Water and Light. Past President of the Schoolsection Lake Association and was
active in Jr. Achievement. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his Brittany's (dogs). Mr.
Davis is preceded in death by his father; Robert W. Davis and brother; Douglas L. Davis. He is survived by his loving
wife of 52 years Mary Beth Davis, 3 daughters; Lesley Machala (Greg), Shelley DeLaCruz and Amy Guile (Troy), 1 son;
Scott A. Davis (Joanne), grandchildren; Sara and David DeLaCruz, Robert and Amanda Keiffer, Courtney Makley, Codie
Guile, Megan Borstler, 6 great grandchildren; mother; Corinne Davis, brother; Ron Davis (Linda), sister; Judy Merchant.
2.William "Bill" Thomas Lake Worth, FL Formerly of Lansing Born March 23, 1932 in Kingsford, MI (U.P.), the son of
Henry E. and Estella (Haughton) Thomas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011. Bill graduated from
Kingsford High School in 1950, earning letters in football (Captain and All Conference, First Team), basketball and track.
He served four years in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, with the final 16 months in Okinawa. He graduated
from Michigan State University in 1958, the same year he married the love of his life, Roberta Harrington, the 3rd female
officer on the Lansing Police Department. Bill worked for the State of Michigan for 32 years, retiring in 1991 as Director
of Business Services of Social Services. He was a member of Holy Cross Parish for over 40 years.
3.Roberta M. "Bobbie" Thomas Lake Worth, FL Also Mecosta MI (Formerly of Lansing) Born May 6, 1935 in Saratoga
Springs, NY to Dr. Robert E. and Genevieve (O'Brien) Harrington, passed away October 22, 2011. Bobbie graduated
from MSU in Police Administration and was the third female police officer hired by the city of Lansing. She retired from
the State of Michigan, Legislative Service Bureau as a proofreader. After spending nearly 50 years in Lansing, Bobbie
and her husband Bill sold their home and divided their time between the family cottage in Mecosta, MI and their condo
in Lake Worth, FL. Bobbie was a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lansing.
